Built a home lab simulating a small enterprise, three city architecture based on an HQ and two branch location structure.
Components: Cisco Switches(2960, 3350, 3750, SG300), Cisco Routers(1921, 2621xm), Cisco WAPs(2 LAP 1142N), Cisco wireless controller(WLC2106), unmanaged switch to emulate Metro E connection, CAT6 patch cabling, fiber cabling, Cyber Power CPS-1215RM power management.
Upgraded home network from standard ISP setup to a rack mount design with a 48 port Cisco 2490 managed switch, ASUS RT-AX68U WiFi Router, 24 port CAT6 patch panel, and Cyber Power CPS-1215RM power management.
Designed and implemented an Enterprise network model whose topology included an HQ, 4 remote offices, a Data Center, and a core structure connected in a mesh.
HQ and remote offices designed with 5 VLANS and 1 management VLAN. The Data Center was comprised of three VLANS, each representing one server(DNS, TFTP, Web).
Protocols used: Layer 2-per VLAN STP, RPVST, DHCP. Layer 3- OSPF routing, NAT/PAT for internet connectivity through the Data Center.
I collect vinyl L.P's. As my collection grew, I found myself accidentally buying titles I already own. I thought how great it would be to have an app where I could check a title I'm interested in against a database of my collection.
Using LAMP/CRUD methodologies, the myVinyl app solved the problem of a lousy memory and a large record collection.
